Information for arriving and departing passengers

Service for departing passengers

A passenger is allowed to be carried if a valid paper ticket or an electronic ticket issued by the airline or an authorized agent is issued for him.

At the airport, departing passengers check in for flights, check in their luggage and pass pre-flight inspection. We recommend that you arrive in advance to have time to pass all the controls.

Registration of departing passengers at the airport starts at least two hours before departure on international flights and no later than 1.5 hours before departure on domestic flights and closes 40 minutes before departure of the aircraft.

Ticket registration and baggage handling for departing passengers are carried out at the counters in the domestic and international departures hall, as well as in the CIP/VIP hall.

Passengers with expired registration or validity periods of the visa of the Republic of Kazakhstan, pass border and customs control 8 hours before the departure of an international aircraft.

Unaccompanied child

Registration of an unaccompanied child's ticket is carried out upon presentation of the child's identity document.

Unaccompanied minor passengers are children on domestic and international flights between the ages of 6 and 16 who are traveling without their parents and are not entrusted to any of the passengers.

Unaccompanied minors are not accepted for transportation from 23 to 6 o'clock in the morning in accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 36 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of August 8, 2002 «On the Rights of the Child in the Republic of Kazakhstan».

Minor passengers under the age of 6 years are transported only when accompanied by an adult passenger.

If a minor citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan leaves the Republic of Kazakhstan unaccompanied, he must have with him, in addition to his passport, a notarized consent of parents, adoptive parents, guardians or trustees for the departure of a minor citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, indicating the time of departure and the state (s) that he intends to visit.

Sick passengers

Sick passengers are accompanied by airport medical staff to the aircraft.

When providing services to disabled passengers authorised agent checks the ticket and a medical report that contains permission for the air transport, indicating the special requirements conditions of carriage of the passenger, and then issue traveling documents, medical styling and equipment specified in the medical report.

Pregnant passenger

If you care to pregnant passengers authorised agent flight checks of the ticket, exchange cards (in any pregnancy) and a certificate of the medical organization on pregnancy and health for pregnant passengers with pregnancy from twenty-two to thirty-four weeks in singletons, and not more than thirty-two weeks in a multiple pregnancy, permitting its transportation by air.

Pregnant women whose gestation period exceeds 34 weeks in a single pregnancy, and in a multiple pregnancy-no more than 32 weeks, provide the conclusion of the medical advisory commission in the form approved by the order of the acting Director. Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2010 No. 907 «On approval of forms of primary medical documentation of health organizations» (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory legal Acts in No. 6697) form No. 035-1/u on the state of their health, which is allowed from registration by a medical organization not earlier than 30 calendar days before the start of transportation.

The medical report indicates the period of pregnancy and provides confirmation that the pregnancy proceeds without complications.

Service for passengers belonging to low-mobility groups of the population

PRMs passengers are served by an authorized agent in accordance with the Provisions of the Passenger Service Standards for People with Reduced Mobility (PRM – Persons with Reduced Mobility) at the airport and provides for the following procedure:

1. registration of a passenger with a visual disability and accompanied by a guide dog;
2. when transporting people with limited mobility, after carrying out the check-in procedures, the representative of the airline (airport) accompanies them to (from) the aircraft and, together with the documents, transfers it (them) directly to the crew;
3. the authorized agent provides assistance in passing border, customs control and other registration procedures;
4. passengers from among the PRMs are boarded by the airport representative first of all before the announcement of the landing of the main part of passengers and disembarkation from the aircraft last of all;
5. when transporting persons using a wheelchair, the representative of the airline / airport provides a special seat for transportation in the cabin of the aircraft.

Arriving sick passengers are accompanied by medical staff of the airport to the medical point.

Pre-flight inspection

All passengers and their hand luggage are checked during the pre-flight inspection. Prohibited items are confiscated.

Attention: you cannot take piercing and cutting objects, liquids in a package with a volume of more than 100 ml, more than a liter of liquids per person. The full list of prohibited items is specified in the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 31, 2011 No. 317 «On approval of the List of Dangerous Substances and Items, as well as all types of drugs prohibited to passengers for transportation on civil aircraft».

On inspection:

• Remove your outer clothing, watches, and metal jewelry.
• Prepare to remove your belt and high-heeled shoes if requested by airport security personnel.
• Remove metal objects and electronic devices from your pockets.
• Put all the things in the tray and put it on the introscope tape.
• Put liquids and electronic devices separately.
