Aktobe International Airport took part in the cargo forum "Silk Road in the Sky – Kazakhstan Cargo Hub".

The Forum was held under the auspices of the International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) in Astana from June 19 to 21, 2024.

About 250 participants from more than 30 countries took part in the TIACA International Forum.
Within the framework of the forum, Aktobe Airport signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) and the Alpha Sky cargo airline. At the same time, at the forum, the Chairman of the airport Board, Maliyev Dastan, made a report on the development of a cargo hub at Aktobe airport.

Also, within the framework of the forum, Aktobe Airport received an award in the nomination "Best cargo project", as well as a letter of thanks for active participation from the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
